Bong Of The Dead successfully wrapped on time on October 3rd, bringing a smooth ending to a long and demanding shoot. It was a grueling three week production with little time to spare as a small group of dedicated cast and crew members consisting of mainly friends and family as well as Indie film makers and mainstream professionals who all came together in order to help Thomas Newman realize his vision.

Bong of the Dead is a production by Mind In Motion Inc and writer, producer and director Thomas Newman. Filmed in various locations the Bong of the Dead features some of the best cast and crew available for the genre. The cast and crew were selected in large part based on their love and dedication to horror, humor and classic blood and guts zombie lore.

Thomas Newman has undoubtedly created his first masterpiece of a movie that is sure to have massive cult appeal. The entire project was funded by Thomas and his wife, who decided it was time to take a step in the right direction and completely produce the movie themselves in order to maintain 100% creative control from start to finish . Now that the film is in post production Thomas will also be editing the film himself in order to stay true to his vision. He is working closely with his long time friend and co-producer Vincent Akira Yoshida who will handle the many composites that are required in order to finalize the CG elements in the movie. Bong Of he Dead will be ready for its release sometime in March of 2009.

Co-producers Vincent Akira Yoshida and Mike Fields both have extensive track records in these types of productions. Their expertise can be seen from the beginning to the end of the movie.
